‘Life Hanging’ unveils first poster

First poster for Fajr contender ‘Life Hanging’ by Hossein Amiri-Domari has been unveiled.

Prior to film premiere at the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran, ‘Life Hanging’ unravels poster that is designed by Erfan Behkar-Mehrabani.

The film that counts as the director’s debut feature film has succeeded to acquire a slot among the ten films that will have their first screening at the ‘New Look’ section of the festival specified to the first time directors.

"To God I swear, if you ask me about dinner or what we are going to have tonight once more, I'll hang myself here and right now, so you will forget all about food. No one dies of hunger!” a brief synopsis of the film reads.

Notable among the cast are Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Baran Kosari, Javad Ezzati, Hamed Behdad and Masoud Keramati.

Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
